The Project titled ‘Promotion of Herbal Healing Centres (HHCs) under Archdiocese of Guwahati’ is a one year project supported by Missio Munich, Germany. The goal of the intervention is that the rural tribal villagers will have common facilities on herbal medicines for treating general diseases and nutritional deficiencies especially among women and children. It’s objective is to capacitate the touring sisters and village level herbal practitioners on running Herbal Healing Centres (HHCs). The intervention seeks to set up 3 common HHCs under Archdiocese of Guwahati. Touring sisters and village level traditional herbal practitioners are the target groups of the project intervention.
