The 2nd phase of the FARM (Facilitating Agriculture Regeneration Measures) Northeast Project, supported by Caritas India was officially launched on 1st November 2016 at Talani Village, Dhupguri GP, Kamrup Metro District. The event marked with the presence of Sri. Bipul Das, ADO, Dept. of Agriculture,representatives from the target GPs and Caritas India Northeast Zonal Office, villagers, school children etc. During the occasion as a symbol of initiating the Project planted tree saplings by the Chief Guest and Guests of honors. The 2nd Phase of the Project is implemented in 16 villages under Demoria Development Block, Kamrup Metro District for a three years period towards empowering the targeted farmers to bring in sustainable agriculture practices and solutions to common village issues and problems by promoting traditional knowledge and advanced technologies through People Led Development Approach/Actions.
